Over the course of the 2022/23 fiscal year, Backpack Beginnings gave away over 40,000 children’s books to Triad families through their Family Market. BackPack Beginnings’ mission is to deliver child-centric services to feed, comfort and clothe children in need. By ensuring food and basic items are given directly to children in need, BackPack Beginnings makes a positive and lasting impact on their health and well-being. Families with children under the age of 18 can shop at the Family Market for books, food, clothing and other necessities Monday – Friday by appointment.
